We are a family business, created in 2010 by Jamal Suleiman.
Born in Aquidauana, in the interior of Mato Grosso do Sul, our founder has been an infectious disease doctor for over 30 years, a pepper maker since he was a child and a self-taught chef.
Still practicing his profession, alongside his wife Grace, his life changed a little angle, when in 2009 at his birthday party he decided to present the guests with glasses of Dedo de Moça Pepper Sauce with spices, a classic family recipe and in the future. , the flagship of our company.
It was a success! Requests for this pepper started to spread, friends who won it and friends of friends who tasted it wanted more and were looking for it. where to buy. It was then that in 2010, the youngest daughter saw a business opportunity there.
So, Jamal's Pepper is born!
Since then the whole family has been involved in the business. The two daughters and son-in-law personally take care of the day to day of the company and Jamal, without abandoning the medical profession, continues to be the creator of all the brand's launches. “It is a business that unites the family, which allows us to continue studying pepper, its organoleptic characteristics, seasonality, perfume, in addition to rescuing its origins”, celebrates Jamal.

2010

Home – Jamal Suleiman starts producing, in a small kitchen, in the city of São Paulo, his creations. At the time, twenty-five products were already part of the company's initial catalog.
2012
New airs – The line did not stop growing. Then there was a change of address to expand production, but always maintaining the same quality standard. More than 30 items were already sold at points of sale throughout Brazil.

Gaining more space – “We may be small, but we will do everything with the mastery of a century-old and giant company” (Jamal Suleiman). A large food industry is looking for Pimenta do Jamal to meet a demand for a product that was not in our catalog, with a production volume of a whole year and with maximum urgency. Order delivered on time and with maximum excellence, our Food Service line enters the scene, with packaging to meet the market of restaurants, buffets and industrial kitchens.

Pimenta do Jamal around the World – Pimenta do Jamal's proposal has always been to tell a story through its products - where they come from, how they were born, why they were chosen to be part of our catalog. This is where the exclusive and limited edition Pimenta do Jamal Pelo Mundo line was born.

New paths – Always attentive to new possibilities, Pimenta do Jamal decides to expand the market and launches a new company, LAMAJ Gastronomia Artesanal . A line without peppers, but with tradition and quality in the same standard.
